Location & Hours
Park goers can visit Silver Springs State Park through two locations: the main and camping entrances. The main entrance, 5656 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Silver Springs, FL 34488, leads to boat tours, kayak rentals, hiking paths, and headsprings. The camping entrance, 1425 N.E. 58th Ave., Silver Springs, FL 34488, consists of the campgrounds, Silver River Museum and Environmental Education Center, and a kayak launch site.
The park operates from 8:00 a.m. to sundown on a daily basis. Discover a vast ecosystem brimming with manatees, fish, turtles, alligators, and more. Spot different Native American and Spanish artifacts, as well as movie props from Hollywood films. Visitors can choose between a 30-minute tour or an extended excursion. While a reservation isn’t required for a 30-minute tour, it’s highly recommended to purchase your tickets in advance.

Travel through Silver Springs State Park with rental canoes, stand-up paddle boards, and kayaks. Stretching for five miles, the Silver River is a glimmering spectacle that offers paddling under thick canopies of trees. Visitors can choose from a variety of rental programs, including hourly excursions, as well as out-and-back trips. It is also permitted to bring your own personal vessel with a $4 launch fee.
