Since 1950, the Ocala Civic Theatre has offered live, professional-quality musical and dramatic productions as it stands as the second largest community theater in Florida.

The Marion Performing Ballet and the Ocala Dance Theatre also stage performances throughout the year and the Reilly Arts Center is the home of the Ocala Symphony Orchestra, an orchestra of 75 professional musicians, that plays a wide range of music.
