6th Annual Marion Rotary Duck Derby

Join us for the 6th Annual Marion Rotary Duck Derby hosted by Marion County Rotary Clubs on Saturday January 18, 2025 at Tuscawilla Park in Ocala, FL. The fun will begin at 11 am and the race is at 2 pm.

Duck adoptions are available online, through the mail, from a sponsoring business or on the day of the event from the Duck Race booth. All 5,000 ducks are tagged with adopter’s information and will be launched into the pond on Race Day. The first few ducks that cross the finish line will win cash prizes for their adopters.

The funds from participation in the Duck Derby will support the Discovery Center, a family-friendly science center that promotes interactive learning and encourages individuals to expand their knowledge, and other charities supported by the Marion County Rotary Clubs. The Discovery Center is located in Tuscawilla Park.

Over the past few years, Duck Derby events have happily raised over $90,000, and, including grants and sponsorships, over $200,000 for the Discovery Center. For more information and to adopt ducks, visit our website: duckrace.com/ocala
