Overview
Wet Hammock is the agritourism side of the Douglass Farm that specializes in U-Pick Blackberries, Blueberries, seasonal produce and hydroponics. We are continually adding new production and crops that grow great in North Central Florida so check in often! U-Pick blackberries are available usually from May-Early July and blueberries are from mid April- May.
The Douglass Farm has been in agricultural production since before the Civil War, chiefly involved in citrus, turpentine and cattle production. Our family moved here from Lake county Florida in 1918 and operated in the citrus industry until the freezes of the 1980s. Since then we have managed a cow-calf operation and have grown and supplied trees to the landscape industry. Now we have added a U-Pick to our farm operations making available fresh Blueberries and Blackberries direct to consumer!
General Information - We are located 2 miles East of Citra on 318 at the Douglass Farm on the corner of NE 45th Ave.
