Tuscawilla Art Park
Tuscawilla Art Park is situated just north of the Downtown Ocala Square and is a great spot to see larger than life outdoor sculptures! From painted bridges to a metal dragon sculpture, you can appreciate the work of accomplished artists any time of day in the fresh air.
Explore the art on your own or follow along with the self-guided City of Ocala’s Public Art Tour. As you visit the park, you will see markers near the pieces of art with brief descriptions. If you have a newer smart phone, you can scan the QR code on the sign to be directed to a full audio description of the art or you can simply read along.
Some of the sculptures are permanent and other pieces are rotated out with new works of art, so it is definitely worth a return visit to see the new additions. The beauty is not just in the sculptures however. Throughout the three-acre park, visitors will also see live botanical art, winding pathways and places to sit and enjoy the park in the shade.
When you are finished discovering the art park, wonder over to Tuscawilla Park for more lush grass, tennis courts, a kid’s playground and lovely Lake Tuscawilla.
