Overview
McIntosh is a small Victorian town located north of Ocala that dates back to the 1800s. McIntosh Historic District is bounded by 10th St., Aves. C and H , McIntosh. Featuring historic buildings that resemble Queen Anne and Gothic architecture style.
The area is shaded by live oak trees that are older than the historic buildings.
This part of McIntosh is home to the annual McIntosh 1890s Festival that takes place in the Fall where attendees can discover the area’s rich history while walking down tree-lined streets filled with unique vendors, music, face painting and great food.
