Memorial Day Tribute Featuring Travis Mills
This Memorial Day event is a can’t miss occasion featuring a “Soldier’s Story” documentary and the National Anthem and Marion County Memorial Honor Guard. U.S. Army SSG (Ret.) Travis Mills is a motivational speaker and a recalibrated veteran, hosting this event for all military members. Located at the Circle Square Cultural Center, this special occasion pays homage to recalibrated veterans around the country. VIP eventgoers will also have the chance to meet and talk with Travis Mills.

Ocala-Marion County Veterans Memorial Park
Make your way to the Ocala-Marion County Veterans Memorial Park and dive into heart-pumping activities for this spring holiday. The MURPH Challenge presents an array of workouts that honor the memories of our veterans on May 25, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. After the workout, spend Memorial Day at this landmark in Ocala, showcasing a commemorative space for various fallen heroes with more than 5,000 bricks, 200 benches, and 100 plaques. Stroll through the park’s grounds and learn more about the history of different veterans. Visit the Medal of Honor monument, which includes all presidents who served in the military. Enrich your learning about past wars, spanning over three centuries. Embarking on the Painted Horse Trail? The horse sculpture “Hero” spotlights the branches of the United States Military at this park.
